The Send Off

I produced a feature about a daughter who befriends her father's death, takes grief into her own hands, and arranges a home funeral for her father, which includes keeping his body at home for days. You can listen to The Send Off here. This piece was the most voted piece featured on Selects Podcast - a curation of pieces from independent producers - for which I received prizes and some really useful audio software. This piece was also chosen to feature in the Surround Sound Radio Festival and was aired in five cities across Canada in 2018.

A Curious Case of the Blues

I produced a feature about a blues musician who's part Native, part Black, and through the making of music, he's working to legitimize the idea that the blues has origins in both Native and Black musical influence. The piece aired on WCAI's programming, including on Weekend Edition and Arts&Ideas. It also aired on WOUB and PRX Remix. You can listen to it here. This piece was also chosen to feature in the Surround Sound Radio Festival and was aired in five cities across Canada in 2018.
