Thicker Than Water
I was a story producer on Thicker Than Water, an audio memoir of Tyler Shutz (whistleblower of the Theranos scandal) for Audible Originals.
I interviewed Tyler in studio for about 35 hours (35 hours of audio!) and then used all that tape to construct a manuscript (which was then edited and cut by other people).
It’s basically a single-voice, spoken, 3.5 hour long story that’s scored with original music, telling you what it was really like to be a 23-year-old kid facing down a 9 billion dollar company.
