“Our food system isn’t broken. It was designed this way—and that means it’s time for a redesign. That’s why we started this podcast: we go where the questions are, looking at the gaps in current systems and talking to the people who are building the food systems we’ll need in the future... right now.”

I was a producer on this project, helping IDEO develop its first podcast — about food & climate change through the lens of design — alongside editor Tina Antolini. I left the project prematurely to transition into something else, but the process of merging a typical narrative-podcast-approach to developing new projects and an IDEO design-thinking-approach to developing new projects was a really interesting & new way of working on a podcast.

On top of being the initial producer of the show, I also conducted all the interviews + field reporting featured in this episode, while the host was on temp leave.
